Bridesmaid dresses

As many of us start Spring Cleaning, how about getting rid of a few bridesmaid dresses as well? Hitched is having it's 4th Annual Hitched Dress Drive to benefit Princess for a Night.

Beginning April 1st, and continuing throughout the month, stop by Hitched to donate your gently worn (and dry cleaned) bridesmaid dresses (in all sizes!) that will go to students in the community. Due to the great expense of prom dresses, the girls might otherwise not be able to afford a dress for this special night. Help Hitched meet and surpass their goal of collecting 100 dresses!

Essence is calling all brides!

They are creating an exciting new feature and would like newlyweds from all over to take part. Were you and your beloved both divorced and cynical about getting remarried before you fell in love? Is your new hubby an Iraq vet? ESSENCE.com wants all these stories and more. All you have to do is send an email to realweddings@essence-online.com with your name, your husband's name, both of your ages, date of the wedding, city of residence and a 150 word description of your special nuptials and why they should appear on ESSENCE.com. Also be sure to include 10 to 15 photos from your big day. **Please note only weddings that have taken place in the last six months will be considered.**

***Brides, when attending shows, a good way to prepare is to have printed labels w/ your information (name, address, phone, email, wedding date). So, if you decide to fill out an entry form or leave your information for a potential vendor to contact you, you don't have to write it each and every time. It will save you tons of time!
