No matter what your budget, one wants to always save on expenses. Here are a few ways to make your savings add up:
** Food and beverage eats up a large portion of your reception budget. So, instead of a seated dinner, opt for a buffet or even a cocktail reception. With this option you will also save on staffing needs.
** In place of an Open Bar, introduce a Signature Drink.
** With Saturday evening/night being the most popular day/time to have a reception, move your wedding to a Friday or Sunday. If you MUST have it on Saturday, think about making it earlier in the day.
** Reuse your ceremony flowers at the reception.
** Have your reception at a venue that regularly offers meals...hotels, country clubs. These locations will have basic linens, plates, flatware, etc., it will save you from having to rent the items.
